UNITED CROSSBOW HUNTERS of NEW JERSEY

The UXBNJ was organized to promote and support the use of Crossbows in the State of New Jersey. Our goal is to eliminate the myths and untruths surrounding the introduction of Crossbows into New Jersey. We hope that by getting the Truths about Crossbows out into the public's eyes, people will see that their addition to New Jersey's hunting tools, will be a positive action.

Studies have shown that throughout the United States, there is increasing support for the inclusion of Crossbows into the Hunting fields. In just about every State that does not allow the use of Crossbows, you will find hunters  that want to use them as a hunting tool. More and more States are allowing their use. Some for the Handicapped only, others for "some" of their seasons. It seems that every month, we here at the UXBNJ hear of another State adding Crossbows to their seasons.

It has been a long road that we have traveled here in New Jersey for the inclusion of Crossbows into our seasons . A road littered with the potholes of Crossbow myths and narrow mindedness. But now, we can actually see our GOAL ahead of us. But we are not there yet. So we must continue to work together to achieve our goal.

The INCLUSION of CROSSBOWS in New Jersey.

The UXBNJ, and it's members, feel strongly in the fact that we are all hunters and Outdoorsmen, and as such, we should all work together. I've often heard the saying: "Hunters Helping Hunters". Well, we here at the UXBNJ have added a little to that. We say, " Hunters Helping ALL Hunters" .

As such, addition to supporting the use of Crossbows in NJ, the UXBNJ will strive to support ALL HUNTERS in NJ, no matter what their style of hunting may be.
